Frequently Asked Questions

How much coffee can a 2L camping percolator make?

The exact cup yield depends on the cup size and how much water you use, but the pot itself has a 2-litre capacity.

Can I use pre-ground coffee in a percolator?

Yes. Percolators use ground coffee, with a medium-to-coarse grind generally helping reduce fine grounds passing through the basket.

What is included with the LK set?

The set contains the 2L coffee pot, percolator insert and four enamel cups with stainless-steel safety lips.

Why are enamel cups popular for camping?

Enamel cups are compact, reusable and well suited to outdoor kits where durable drinkware is useful.

How do I avoid bitter percolator coffee?

Use controlled heat and stop the brewing cycle once the coffee has reached the strength you want rather than letting it boil aggressively for an extended period.
